What Are the SEA Games 2025?
Taking place from 9 to 20 December 2025, the SEA Games are a multi-sport event for athletes from 11 countries in Southeast Asia. The participating countries are Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar (Burma), Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, Timor-Leste (East Timor), and Vietnam. The competition is governed by the Southeast Asian Games Federation and supported by the International Olympic Committee and the Olympic Council of Asia.
Officially titled “SEAGAMES Thailand 2025”, this year’s games will be hosted by Thailand. The event will be hosted across Bangkok, Chonburi, and Songkhla. Each province has prepared world-class facilities to accommodate athletes and spectators from all over ASEAN. A portion of this year’s SEA Games will be held in the Chonburi province where Pattaya is located. While the specific dates and which venues they are taking place at are still being finalised, fans can expect to see thrilling competition over Air Sports, Aquatics, Billiards & Snooker, Cycling, Equestrian, Extreme Sports, Golf, Handball, Hockey, Modern Pentathlon, Rowing, Sailing, Shooting, Teqball, Triathlon, Weightlifting, Woodball and Football and Futsal.
